Here is a series of photos I took at random points during the creation of a custom order Mandarin Fish. One of my most complicated and detail intensive projects ever. And there it is! Spent all day in my pjs and glasses watching Law and Order and sewing. This is how life should be.
Wow, as ugly as the Mandarin fish is, you made it kinda cute! It's amazing to see all the work you put into it and the process you went through to create it. :D
I can't believe you stick pins in that poor monkey's head! In all seriousness, you are such a talented artist. Your attention to detail really comes through in the finished pieces. Cool fish!
I am currently fulfilling my lifelong dream as a PhD student studying entomology. I have a B.Sc. in Applied Zoology.
This blog serves as a gateway for my natural history adventures, as well as updates on my shop. I create plush interpretations and drawings of insects and other wildlife, and custom orders are my specialty.
