First up: weevil. I've been thinking about making a big plushie weevil, and it'll probably happen once I decide on which fabrics to use, and which species to base it off of. This little guy is made up, as far as the colors go, but there might be one like it in the tropics. I love curculionids, they're so cute!
The patches are *not* iron on, because iron on patches, in my experience, never ever stay on, and I hand sew them all anyway. These are fairly large, 5.5" by 3.5" (14cm by 9cm). In my listings on etsy I show how they look on a pair of jeans, and I bet they'd be sweet on a jacket or bag.
More will follow once I get some homework done.

The headlouse is pretty shade of purple...although no one would believe me if I said that was the reason I'd put it on.
I used to have a terrible fear of headlice...my grandma said that if you don't get rid of them quickly, they'll infest your whole head then fly away, bringing you with them.
eww :p cute!
strangely, that patch doesn't make me as afraid of head lice as I would have thought...
hmmm...maybe the whole plushie/patch angle is a good thing. It will make the world less afraid of the creepy crawlies.
you've got it goin' on Weird Bug Lady!
Thanks everyone :) deabusamor - that sounds scary, but don't worry, lice don't have wings. And yes, that's part of my plan high desert diva - getting people to see "gross" bugs and things in a different light.
I've had that effect with my photography, I should post some of it soon.
I like the louse...
Have you ever seen the parasite pals? Google it. I think you would love them.
Hahaha the parasite pals are awesome! Thanks for the tip.
I didn't know they didn't have wings! Darn, now I cant use that to threaten my kids with....not that I want kids anyway.
